The premium Spiral members got in for this TV/Peter Murphy/Trent radio show where they played 2 TV On The Radio songs (Dreams and Final Solution) and Bela Lugosi's Dead. So yeah then TV performed. They were TV. Bauhaus were once again fabulous. The highlight was that I got a rose from Peter Murphy! He had this bamboo stick thing, and he had put a rose in it. Then he came over in front of me and lowered it right over my head and I just reached up and grabbed it. I'm keeping that FOREVER. That was lovely. They also changed it up a bit and played Ziggy Stardust. NIN's performance was outstanding tonight. FREESE. That man is awesome, I can't get over it. Trent does this thing with his water bottle during MOTP where it's kind of like he's ejaculating... I thought that was pretty funny. He threw the mic in the crowd at this show as well. Aaron, like a ninja again. He dove into the crowd during MOTP. Jeordie had a little bit of facepaint. It looked like white stitches going across his face, I liked it. During HLAH, while I was "bowing" to him like I did at every other show, Jeordie actually kind of bowed too, like bending and stuff. He was moving around a lot. He skipped around in circles. He had thrown a pic on the floor, and as I was telling the security to get it for me I felt one land right on my back, then it tumbled forward and landed right in front of me, on this little step thing. So I got that one, yay. I also caught Jeordie's water bottle. During THTF something wasn't working for Ally so I was kind of confused, then Aaron helped him knock his keyboard over during HLAH and Ally played it on the floor. And Aaron smashed his guitar.
I don't know what people are saying about the crowd not being energetic, but in my area (on the barricade in front of Jeordie) it was FUCKING crazy. The most intense out of the 4 shows I've been to on this leg. Two people got out over my head and there was this fucking asshole in a light blue shirt in back of my friend who was bleeding on everyone. He got taken out once and like 10 minutes later he was back at the same spot. Somehow this guy got onstage during Closer and ran across it, he touched Jeordie and Trent, and Jeordie looked at him like WTF. I was thinking how the hell he got up there. So anyway, during HLAH, Jeordie had these pretty light blue picks. And he dropped one that first landed on the stage and then to the ground. Apparently everyone thought it was still onstage and the idiots were telling the guy to get it from the stage, and he's like wtf. I was the only one who was actually pointing at it on the floor, but after about a minute, I realized I already had 3, so I was like fuck it. They also passed out water bottles which was nice, and after about 3 gulps I decided to pour the rest on my head. That was refreshing. Oh yeah and my phone broke. I knew it was going to fall out of my pocket, anyway. And it did, and it got the shit stomped out of it, so I'm sort of glad now that I didn't bother taking any pictures because it would have been no use. I was kind of sad hearing Hurt, because I knew it was gonna be the end soon. And it was going to be my last show of the tour. I'm also sick of hearing THTF and HLAH too, so I was already tired and not into it by that time. But it's all good, I'm more than satisfied, I had a great time, and this was a fantastic final show.
