Got there 2 hours before just in case, and i'm glad i did. wouldn’t want to miss a single moment. sat there with all the rest of excited kids, losing my patience bit by bit. a had a seat spot, but that actually wasn't so bad at all, i could see the stage from really close and everyone very well, except for James iha. didn't get to see much of that dude.

First off: it's a rather big arena, but it wasn't sold out and only like 2/3 of the capacity was open. the crowd was really, really good. obviously, lots of people came for deftones, but lots of people came JUST for APC only.

First act - Revolution Smile - well, i didn't think much of it, was kinda dull, but hey. they were only out for like 25 minutes or so and i was going out of my mind waiting for APC, so i didn't pay much attention to them. the singer sucked, i thought.

After a brief recess (about 20 minutes) i hear lullaby, of course... the crowd is starting to come alive, one by one come in jeordie, billy, josh and james. u can't see Timmy just yet. when they hit pet, i thought i'd fall down all the way to the floor....(downstairs, u know..) that's just class. my eyes were mostly on jeordie as he's got this rather mesmerizing persona. i loved the way he moved around and played his bass. the band sounds very, very, very tight. after that they hit Magdalena, which really made me happy. that song was owned by jeordie and it was this, or the next (blue) where he'd play a big part kneeling sitting down. lovely.

Blue sounded good, but not half as good as the package. beautifully executed. Timmy totally topped himself. Weak and powerless floated around the venue very smoothly. 3 libras, and the hollow (my favourites of mer de noms), that moved the crowd a little more. Outsider sounded amazing, (Timmy gave an amazing scream, that just sent shivers down my spine....) .and they finished with the obvious crowd teaser: judith.

Timmy was being all witty, of course. he thanked on several occasions for supporting the band: "thanx for your support, we know that you're here for deftones (at that moment of course i'd scream NO!!!! at the top of my lungs ). so thank you" he introduced the band the same way he did on the previous shows. and each got the same amount of warmth, which was great. a little joke with james was Timmy asking him to throw some breakbeat, which he did, it was hilarious, really lol, also asked him to present some moonwalk... i adore the fact that they refuse to be serious about themselves. he also said: "we're americans, so we're paranoid.( ) we're paranoid that the record stores don't have our cd's in stock, so we brought some with us. and along with that some fresh minties." which he threw at the crowd.

Just after outsider he thanked as for coming and said he's hoping to see us soon (yeah, right, i'd KILL for APC headlining europe......) they threw almost anything from the stage: cloth, bottles, cups, picks and what not. at one point it started to look really ridiculous, cuz billy just wouldn't stop until he'd only have heavy objects lefton the stage

Was very happy looking at the crowd below me, all mesmerized and not even so much as jumping. good audience.

Deftones came in and almost ruined it all. i'm not a fan myself so after hearing APC it was the last thing for me to stick arounf for. but, i met this incredibly delicious man at the merchandise, when i bought my clove shirt (30 fucking euros, oh well) and stuck around flirting and having a great time. we got each other's numbers... left the venue after about 30-40 minute of deftones. they really suck compare to APC..... the sound, btw, was good, except for a few moments (during blue my ears almost died!) this is one of the worst venues in holland when talking about sound quality, so that was very unlucky. but hey, can't have it all.
