I just got back from seeing NIN perform at the Mark of the Quad Cities, and what can I say, the show was amazing. I was on the floor right between Jeordie and Trent but had a good look at the whole stage. They started off behind the silk screen for "Love Is Not Enough" then dropped it as "Terrible Lie" started. The entire show lasted right at two hours, with only one little break which was only about a minute and included Trent speaking to the crowd about how the Nail's music is not the typical "what you want to hear shit that is played on the radio and that you can see the video of on MTV...when MTV plays videos!" The whole band looked great. Aaron is fun to see play live, and actually dove off the stage, guitar and all after the closing song, "Head Like A Hole". Trent looked better than ever, and sounded better than ever, he kept jumping around and such over the entire performance. Jeordie, of course rocked. Mostly playing bass, he picked up the guitar duties on "March Of The Pigs", "The Wretched", "Gave Up", and a couple others. He also played the piano on "Something I Can Never Have"! Josh was also amazing, he is such a badass drummer, really under-rated in my book. He's kinda hard to notice if you're on the floor, kinda hidden away back there. This was definitely a show not to miss and is by far Nine Inch Nails at their best.
