Although I can't provide a totally accurate setlist, I'll tell you what I can remember. Here goes.

(In no particular order)
Orestes
3 Libras
Judith (last song played)
Weak and Powerless
The Hollow
Rose
Magdalena
Thinking of You
Renholder
And 2 or 3 of their new songs (which I didn't catch the names of)

First off, PLC is different. That was the 1st time I ever heard them, and although I can't say I'm ready to run to the store and buy thier album, they did have a lot of heart. Especially Danny. The singer is a little bit off, let's just say his stage props are interesting to say the least.

I'm not going to start with Maynard, I'm going to talk about Twiggy (or whatever his real name is). Twiggy kicked fucking ass. He blew Paz right the hell out of the water! The stage presence that that guy possesses is fucking amazing. My fiance and I were at the very front of the stage (right in front of him). So close we could see the color of his eyes. He's totally not what I expected coming from Manson and all. The dude looks good, too. When I say good, I mean healthy. Him and Billy seem to get along pretty well, and surprisingly, he seems to fit right into the band.

James was.......there. He almost seemed out of it, like he wasn't too thrilled to be there. But maybe that's because he JUST joined the band not too long ago. Maynard introduced him to the crowd and made him speak. I think that terrified James. He said something like "hey, you having a good time?". His pathetic-ness made Maynard laugh. My personal opinion is that he won't be in the band too much longer. We'll see.

Billy was Billy. He was great. Looked very happy and laughing and smiling with the twig miester the whole show.

Josh just rocked. Solid as ever.

Then there's Maynard. The show started with him on a podium (surprise). The podium was curtained off with a white sheer curtain so you were only able to see his sillhouete (sp). After the first song, the curtain dropped and there he was with a brown wig with 2 little pig tails on top of his head and was dressed in a wife beater and some striped jogging pants. He sounded as great as ever (especially during Judith). At one point, they started into Weak and Powerless and the crowd around me started to cheer. He looked right at us and put his finger to his lips to hush the people. They responded by shutting the fuck up, and the whole theatre went silent. That goes to show what kind of performer he is. He can hush a theatre of thousands of people! When people started getting too loud while he was trying to talk, he said "my turn", and again, they shut up. Pretty cool thing to witness.

Anyway, the show was awesome. I'm so greatful I was able to see them in such an intimate setting. The crowd wasn't too bad, either. Hardly any moshing, and no assholes trying to push their way into my spot.

The Package

The Outsider
The Nurse Who Loved Me (Failure)

The show was awesome. I arrived at 5:30 and a line had already formed to get inside. Doors opened at 8:15pm show started about 9:15. The line outside the venue stretched for blocks behind the building. I had no ticket and finally paid $100.00 for a ticket to get in. I met a cool couple and woman who was with her kids who let me cut in the front of the line. The Odgen is a very intimate theatre. It was mind blowing to see them in this space. Pigmy Love Circus played first, a few members Denver natives. Danny on drums. The lead singer used some cool props and different masks during songs. I was surprised by their sound. Not what I expected at all. Just some rock and roll kind of stuff. Very cool. What wasn't cool was this older couple bumping and grinding on each other very nastily touching everyone else. They kept telling us how their kid as into Insane Clown Possee. Lol. I think they were trying to have fun but the drugs and alcohol were clouding their better judgement. Everyone kinda pushed them out of the crowd.

The crowd went wild when APC came on stage. Smoke filled the stage after the band. Maynard came on stage crouching to his position behind a white curtain. He sang the entire first song behind the curtain. We could see his sillouhette. He wore the long haired wig he wears with APC. It took about 30 seconds for them to start off the first song after everyone had assembled on stage. I was positioned directly in front of the stage right in front of Jeordie. He was totally into this and put his own touch on every song. The songs were much more bass heavy and his presence was very powerful. I'm more than sure everyone's eyes here were on Jeordie over even Maynard and Billy. Every song was executed flawlessly and Maynard sang exceptionally well. James did look a bit shy but played well. I'm not sure the crowd was truly what the band was expecting though. The band was trying to create a darker atmosphere than the crowd allowed. This line up is stellar and probably the best and most talented and darkest of any of the maintstream rock bands out. It was a truly a treat to see all of them on stage at such a close distance. Overall though, the crowd enjoyed themselves and sang along to all the older songs. The new stuff sounds great and is heavily based on Jeordie's style. He took the stage during the new songs. Josh went off and executed nicely as well. The venue was tightly packed and there were a few rough people but overall everyone jammed. My shirt was so soaked at the end I had to ring it out. It was hot and the crowd was so into the show. The crowd pleaser was defintly Judith. Everyone went off including the band. The band went off stage after this with no true finale. Everyone expected them to return but the lights came on and the crowd dispersed. And no Diary of a Lovesong this time around. Darn. I can't wait to see them again.
