LIVE REVIEW: GOON MOON 12.07.09 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA - GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL

New Music & The Dope Show Like You Never Heard It Before
By Leecho Magazine [leechomag.com]

Jeordie White and Goon Moon played the American Music Hall in San Francisco on Sunday night to a mixed crowd of new and old fans. A no frills show- the star was the music itself. Jeordie even humored the crowd with his rendition of the Dope Show and gave the classic Manson song a makeover, although he "forgot the lyrics...we're all stars in the ugh ugh"-Priceless.

A more evolved and almost spiritual tone came from Jeordie White as he departed from what he's used to playing, music with glossy mass market appeal, to unique and genuine rock. Once even referred to as "Beatlesque", their stylings cross into almost every and any genre.

For those new to this band, Goon Moon is an experimental band project composed of Jeordie White (Former Manson, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle-Talk about a resume) and Chris Goss.

Goon Moon is currently on tour on the West Coast. More shows should be added soon. We'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, head over to Itunes, and give them a listen. Noteworthy songs, include Apple Pie, and Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You.
