JEORDIE WHITE | BASE TENDENCIES
Just a reminder that there are only a few days left to purchase professionally shot photos from NIN's 2006 summer tour over at www.frcphotos.com. The photos were taken by NIN's official photographer, Rob Sheridan, and there are a few nice ones of Jeordie that you all might be interested in. The last day these will be available for purchase is this Sunday, December 31st.
A fourth show at London's Brixton Academy has been added for 3.11.07. Tickets go on sale this Monday, 12.18.06. Check your local listings for further information.
NIN's "Live: Beside You In Time" has been set for a 2.27.07 U.S. release, with the international release date still pending. Filmed during the Winter 2006 tour in Oklahoma City and El Paso, it will be available in DVD, HD-DVD and Blu Ray formats. Additional material includes performances from the Summer 2006 tour, 2005 rehearsal footage, "The Hand That Feeds" and "Only" music videos, and an image gallery. More information, including the complete track listing and a teaser trailer, can be found at nin.com.
[12:20 p.m.] New dates continue to trickle in regarding NIN's European tour scheduled for February 2007. A third show has been added at London's Brixton Academy for 03.10.07 and tickets are currently on sale at www.seetickets.com. A brand new date has been added in Tilburg, Netherlands for 3.16.07 at Club 013. Tickets go on sale 11.25.06 and you can find more information here.
[6:30 a.m.] The long-awaited Goon Moon full length LP is now set to be released in March 2007 on Mike Patton's Ipecac label. No word yet on the title, tracklisting, etc., but I will keep everyone posted. Thanks to Martin Sloan at mastersofreality.co.uk for passing this along.
[5:53 a.m.] Additional tour dates have been added in the following cities: Madrid - 2.15.07; Barcelona - 2.19.07; Manchester - 2.26.07; Birmingham - 3.5.07; Koln - 3.15.07; Berlin - 3.25.07; Vienna - 3.30.07. Not sure about tickets, but I'm sure the information can be found at whichever ticket agencies are selling tickets for the original gigs, and nin.com will likely update as well.
[6:35 a.m.] An additional Glasgow date has been added to NIN's tour itinerary. Tickets for the 3.1.07 date can be purchased here.
[6:37 p.m.]A second date has been added to NIN's appearance at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. According to the venue's official website they are now scheduled to perform on March 22nd as well as the 21st. Click on "more" in the website's upper right hand corner for ticket information.
[7:25 p.m.]When Trent said "soon", he really meant it this time: NIN have announced a full blown European tour commencing February 10, 2007 in Lisbon, Portugal and continuing into early April. Touring is expected to continue thereafter, presumably with dates in the U.S. and other countries being announced. The full list of dates can be found here. The new NIN album is expected to see an April release and, yes -- the touring lineup will remain the same: Jeordie, Josh, Aaron and Alessandro. Information as to ticket sales will be announced shortly.
[1:20 p.m.] A little more info has trickled in regarding UNKLE's newest effort, another project which Jeordie has contributed to. The new material is said to be more rock oriented this time out -- not surprising, considering the artists said to be lending their talents. In addition to those mentioned here a few weeks ago [see 8.20.06 news update], it has also come to light that Eagles of Death Metal's Jesse "The Devil" Hughes and Dave Catching (who has also worked with Jeordie on Goon Moon's 2005 EP and Desert Sessions 9/10) are involved as well. Unfortunately, as with the other projects Jeordie has been working on over the last few months (Goon Moon, Melissa Auf Der Maur), the album will not see a release until sometime in 2007.
[4:08 p.m.] Pat McAuley has sent in a photo of himself, Jeordie and other classmates from their high school yearbook, which has been added to the Exclusive photo gallery.
