Goon Moon's "Licker's Last Leg", which is still set for a 5.8.07 release, is now available for preorder at amazon.com.
It's just been announced that NIN will play both the Leeds Festival [8.24.07] and the Reading Festival [8.26.07] over in the U.K. For more information and tickets, follow this link. You can also check out the official sites [Leeds Festival; Reading Festival], although the servers are rather jammed at the moment.
NIN has been scheduled to play the Rock Oz'Arenes festival taking place in Avenches, Switzerland on 8.15.07. All of the details you need to know can be found at the festival's official website.
Meanwhile, word has just come in that NIN will not be playing Marley Park in Dublin with the Foo Fighters as originally announced yesterday.
NIN has scheduled a date at Marley Park in Dublin, Ireland as "special guests" of the Foo Fighters. The show takes place on August 22nd and tickets go on sale this Friday, March 16th at 9:00 at Ticketmaster. Also, additional Australian dates have been added: May 11th in Sydney [Big Top Luna Park] and May 15th in Melbourne [Metro Nightclub]. Tickets for both go on sale March 22nd.
Goon Moon has a little something for you.
More of those pesky USB drives turned up at NIN's London gig last night, one of them leaking the video for "Survivalism". Yes, Jeordie's in it and shit goes off. Head on over to this thread at ETS for links to both low-res and hi-res downloads. If, like my laptop, your computer doesn't seem to get along with QuickTime, you can also check it out at youtube.
Just got word that tonight's show in Birmingham, UK has been postponed until August 28th. I've been a little out of touch for most of today and details are sketchy, but apparently Trent needs to rest his voice for a couple of days. All tickets for tonight's show will be honored for the makeup date. Refunds will be issued most likely at point of purchase.
Looks like FRC Photos is making photos from NIN's Summer 2006 available again for purchase. If this is all new to you (or you missed out previously), you can click on this link to check 'em out.
[4:24] Check out this great new interview from starwars.com where Jeordie talks about everything you've ever wanted to know about "Star Wars" but were afraid to ask. Thanks to Carla for the heads up.
[6:30] Additional dates have been added to the Australasia leg of NIN's tour: 5.10.07 at Big Top Luna Park in Sydney and 5.14.07 at Metro Nightclub in Melbourne. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketek. I've also heard some rumblings of a show being added in Tokyo on 5.19.07, but haven't been able to confirm it as yet.

[9:42] Just to keep everyone up to date, the release of "Licker's Last Leg" has now been pushed back slightly to early May.
[13:10] Jeordie recently took some time to talk to Billboard magazine about the upcoming Goon Moon release. Click here to read it. Although the article gives the CD a release date of 4.28.07, that is a Saturday, and we are still holding to the 4.24 release date as confirmed last week.
[14:57] Goon Moon's first full length CD has now been slated for a 4.24.07 worldwide release. Keep a lookout on the official myspace page for more cool shit as the release date gets closer.

Work is almost done on the new version of the website and I expect to have everything back online by sometime this weekend.
Check out Goon Moon's newly launched myspace page at www.myspace.com/goonmoon. Be sure to keep checking back frequently as the page will continue to evolve as we await the release of "Lickers Last Leg" this Spring. While this page is officially sanctioned by the band, be aware that it is fan-run and the band members will not be interacting with fans via this page, nor will messages be responded to. I'm just sayin'....just so you know.
And yes, it appears likely that the March release date might be pushed back to April or possibly May. More info will be posted as it becomes available.
"Lickers Last Leg" will be the title of Goon Moon's upcoming full length album. Twelve songs and 5 years in the making, it can only be described as a collage of hippie/goth/retro sounds, covering a period from the 70's through the early 00's. Ipecac label head Mike Patton stands firmly behind this record and reportedly "loves it". More info will be forthcoming soon regarding the record's Spring 2007 release date and other details.
