February 18, 2005

[5:23 a.m. PST] The Nine Inch Nails tour continues to come together bit by bit, with the band's rumored Mexico City appearance now appearing to be confirmed. The tour date listing at Pollstar has been updated to include the June 2nd date at the Palacio De Los Deportes. Despite the fact that the NIN official website's tour page has not yet added the date, it looks like this one is a go.

February 15, 2005

[11:25 a.m. PST] I wanted to pass along a couple of Nine Inch Nails updates from the last few days. First, the NIN Hotline is reports today that video footage for "The Hand That Feeds", the single forthcoming from With Teeth, was shot over the weekend in Pleasant Hill, San Francisco and Oakland. It is being directed by Ian Inaba, who previously directed Eminem's "Mosh" video. Those on the scene report that Trent has never sounded better and that the video is going to be "awesome". A release date for the single and accompanying video is yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, NIN's official website has revealed the track list for With Teeth. It reads as follows:

All The Love In The World
You Know What You Are?
The Collector
The Hand That Feeds
Love Is Not Enough
Every Day Is Exactly The Same
With Teeth
Only
Getting Smaller
Sunspots
The Line Begins To Blur
Beside You In Time
Right Where It Belongs

An audio clip is available here (click on the image). With Teeth has a scheduled release date of May 3rd.

February 10, 2005

[1:12 p.m. PST] Though these have yet to be confirmed by the Nine Inch Nails camp, two more tour dates have come to light over the last few days. Mexican radio station Reactor 105 has allegedly confirmed a June 2nd date at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, and fans attending a recent Marilyn Manson concert at this same venue reported seeing advertisements for the NIN show. Meanwhile, infoconcert.com states that Nine Inch Nails will appear on June 22nd at The Zenith in Paris. Pending an official announcements, I will try to keep everyone updated as best I can as information continues to trickle in.

February 9, 2005

[11:15 a.m. PST] The Nine Inch Nails official website has confirmed three new tour dates as follows:

3/23/05 - Fresno, CA - William Saroyan Theatre
3/24/05 - Reno, NV - Reno Hilton Showroom
3/25/05 - Davis, CA - Freeborn Hall at UC Davis

Tickets for all three go on sale at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12th. The Fresno and Reno shows will be available through Ticketmaster, while tickets for the Davis show can be purchased through tickets.com. Tickets will also be available at the box offices of all three venues at this same time.

February 8, 2005

[8:17 a.m. PST] Now you see it, now you don't. In checking the Ticketmaster page early this morning to see if perhaps more dates for Nine Inch Nails had been listed, I found instead that the two Philadelphia dates have been removed and there are no dates listed at all. I am not sure if Ticketmaster simply jumped the gun in listing the Philadelphia dates or if these shows simply won't be taking place as had been listed. Hopefully confirmed dates will be forthcoming from the NIN camp in the near future.

February 7, 2005

[4:36 p.m. PST] Two U.S. dates for Nine Inch Nails have just been added to Ticketmaster's listing, May 18th and 19th at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. Hopefully all of the dates of this leg of the tour will be released soon, rather than my only being able to report them one and two at a time.

January 31, 2005

The Los Angeles Times has confirmed Nine Inch Nail's appearance at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, headlining the second day of the event on Sunday, May 1st. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 5th through Ticketmaster.

January 25, 2005

The official lineup won't be announced until Monday, January 31st, but it's looking very likely that Nine Inch Nails will be a part of this year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which takes place on April 30th and May 1st in Indio, CA. Los Angeles-based online magazine Ambitious Outsiders reports on its news page today that the William Morris Agency has confirmed NIN to be playing, although no indication is given as to which day they will play and whether or not they will be headlining.

January 17, 2005

Here's a few updates I wanted to pass along...

Regarding the record that Jeordie has been working on with Chris Goss, I am now informed that it will see a June 2005 release on Suicide Squeeze Records. It is described as "very noisy, hard to listen to, but very good." I did find an official website for the record label, so you might want to bookmark it for future reference, as it looks like this is where you would be able to purchase the record. I am also able to clarify now that this record is NOT Jeordie's solo album, but rather a separate project done just for fun.

In NIN news, reliable info says that Mike Tempesta will not be joining the lineup as has previously been reported.

January 16, 2005

Two tour dates for Nine Inch Nails have been announced via the band's official mailing list. The band will perform two nights at London's Astoria on Wednesday March 30th and Thursday March 31st. Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 22nd. No word yet as to the "first round of U.S. dates" that the official site claims are to be announced in "the near future".

In lineup news, Mike Tempesta, formerly of Powerman 5000, is now said to be replacing Ralf Dietel on guitar.

January 13, 2005

Just wanted to update the NIN lineup situation: Ralf Dietel is apparently out. No word yet on who, if anyone, will take his place.

January 11, 2005

The NIN Hotline appears to have confirmed what I've been suspecting, that not only will Jeordie be playing bass on the upcoming NIN tour, but will be assuming some of the guitar duties as well. The lineup as to who will be playing what is as follows:

Trent Reznor: Vox/Guitar/Keyboards
Jerome Dillon: Drums
Jeordie White: Bass/Guitar
Ralf Dietel: Guitar
Alessandro Cortini: Keyboards

The first round of U.S. dates are expected to be unveiled "in the near future" according to a recent posting on NIN's official site.

January 5, 2005

The new issue of Kerrang! features an article on Nine Inch Nails and their upcoming release, With Teeth. Jeordie will indeed be joining the lineup for the tour, along with drummer Jerome Dillon and two relatively unknowns, Ralph Dietel and Alessandro Cortini. Ralf Dietel, who hails from a German band called Feuer, was rumored a few weeks back by the Nine Inch Nails Hotline to have joined the lineup; Cortini, meanwhile, is a founding member of modwheelmood. More information on him can be found here. The band are currently in rehearsals in a Los Angeles area studio for their upcoming world tour. The first round of dates will be announced shortly.
