Both triplem.com and fasterlouder are also reporting on this. While there is no official confirmation from Manson's management at the moment, the lineup will be announced this Friday, October 7th, so not long to wait before we know for sure either way....

Tuesday, 09.13.11

[20:12] Jeordie is keeping himself quite busy these days -- Marilyn Manson, Goon Moon, Mick Mars....and now, Los Angeles based White Widow have revealed via both their Twitter and Facebook pages that Jeordie will be working with them in the studio on their new album. You can check out their recent music video here.

[18:25] More photos from Saturday night.

[05:34] Check LA Weekly's review of Nick's art exhibit, complete with photos....and where they also reveal a little bit about Manson's new record, which, as some of you might know, Manson himself played for all of us who attended in its entirety!

[06:26] Photos from Nick Kushner's art show Saturday night, which Jeordie DJ'd, can be viewed here.

Thursday, 09.08.11

[15:05] With work on Marilyn Manson's album completed or very close to completion, is Jeordie using the down time to help out another rock icon in the studio? According to this tweet by guitarist Mick Mars of Motley Crue on his official Twitter page earlier, it looks that way. There's been talk circulating for awhile about Mick putting together a solo project and with the Crue's tour having wrapped up a few weeks ago at LA's Sunset Strip Music Festival, a solo record seems a distinct possibility. Mick speaks a little about what he has in mind in a June 2011 interview with The Dallas Observer which can be read here. More details when they become available.

Monday, 09.05.11

[08:05] Jeordie will now be DJ'ing the opening of New York artist Nick Kushner's exhibit Les Crimes de L'Amour which takes place next Saturday, September 10th at Studio Servitu in downtown Los Angeles. Saturday, 07.16.11

[10:37] Jeordie and Fred (a.k.a. worst DJ's ever) will be doing their thing again this coming Thursday, July 21st at the Bronson Bar, 5851 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA. Starts at 10 p.m.

Tuesday, 07.12.11

[12:25] By way of various tweets on the twitter accounts of some of those involved in the process, it has come to light that work has begun over the last few days on the Shia LaBeouf-produced video for Marilyn Manson, although whether this is an actual music video or a documentary is not yet clear. So far those working with Manson on this project include model/suspension artist Miss Crash, Steve Truitt of Albuquerque, NM-based Ascension Body Mod and Chris Giammalvo of Vanderson, Inc., who is in charge of production design. I am reporting on this because at this time, it *does* appear that Jeordie and the rest of the band will be involved, though to what extent, I'm not sure. When/if I can report more on that end, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

Thursday, 06.30.11

[11:39] "Transformers" actor Shia LaBeouf recently revealed that he is working with Marilyn Manson on a video in connection with the new record. You can watch the interview where he talks about it (at approx. 1:46) here. Thanks to "tigger" for posting this at Manson's official message board this morning.

Sunday, 05.22.11

[07:24] Manson's official website has undergone a major transformation overnight, which includes an excerpt of an undisclosed song with an unreleased title -- a taste of what's to come?? Never before seen photo of Jeordie as well in the Photography section. Go now!

Tuesday, 05.17.11

[19:46] Jeordie and Fred have scheduled another DJ night at the Bronson Bar in LA (5851 Sunset) for Thursday, June 9th. Things kick off at 10:00 p.m. Also, if you are not on Twitter -- things are moving along with the new Goon Moon record -- Masters of Reality/Chris Goss reported last week on their Twitter page that 11 songs were written in just four days!

Thursday, 04.28.11

[12:50] Or, maybe not so slow -- Goon Moon will start recording a new album next week according to Masters of Reality's Facebook page, where they just moments ago posted the following: "Goon Moon recording next wk. Twig & I finally can sched. Silly already. We have a blast & write sooooo fast together. Hahahaha... Ciao." Get excited...

[11:54] Jeordie shaved. Yes, news is slow.

Sunday, 04.03.11

[08:57] Since some of you have been asking for this, and with news being really slow at the moment, thought I'd make an attempt at responding to your requests. With a whole lot of help from my friend Ryan Lusteg (because even with staying sober, I still can't manage to keep track of this shit), I've put together a partial listing (and in no particular order) of what was played when Jeordie and Fred DJ'd at The Bronson Bar the other night. Though not entirely complete, hopefully this puts forth a good representation of what was played that night and what you might expect should you ever have the opportunity to go to one of their gigs (some of these tracks turn up on a pretty regular basis on their playlist). Here you go!

Sunday, 03.27.11

[09:17] Jeordie and Fred are confirmed to be DJ'ing at The Bronson Bar this Thursday, March 31st. Any future gigs will probably be more on a "whenever they feel like it" basis rather than any sort of regular schedule, so come on out as this could be the last one for awhile.

Tuesday, 03.08.11

[15:41] Head on over to Goon Moon's official store where what's left of their merchandise (CD's, vinyl, t-shirts, etc.) is currently on sale. Quantities are limited, so grab what you can while you can -- don't know when - or if - any of this will be available again. Also, please note that Jeordie and Fred are NOT DJ'ing this week or for the next couple of weeks as they are busy working on music, however, they do plan to return again on March 31st. Details forthcoming as the date gets closer.

Sunday, 02.27.11

[13:05] More video footage from Jeordie's Guest Professor session at the School of Rock can be viewed here (Jeordie briefly talks about how "The Dope Show" came to be) and here; also, if you aren't following the site on Twitter, you probably haven't seen this yet.

Wednesday, 02.23.11

[06:10] Now there's video footage available of Jeordie's stint as Guest Professor at School of Rock. Watch him perform "The Dope Show" with his students and then sit back and watch as they perform "The Beautiful People".

Sunday, 02.20.11

[07:17] Though there are virtually no details to be found on their website, Dimitri Coats of Burning Brides/OFF! just shared via his Twitter account this photo of Jeordie as Guest Professor at School of Rock's Guest Professor series at their North Hollywood location. Looks like Josh Freese was/will be a participant as well, but again, there are no details. With real news pretty much at a standstill these days, thought I would share the photo. In other "news", Jeordie and Fred will be DJ'ing again this Thursday, February 24 at The Bar. It's Chris Vrenna's birthday -- come out!!

Sunday, 01.23.11

[12:46] The details are in: Jeordie and Fred will be DJ'ing on Thursday, February 10th, returning once again to The Bar (aka The Bronson Bar) at 5851 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. Come out!

Wednesday, 01.19.11

[17:21] Jeordie and Fred will be DJ'ing again in February. Details forthcoming shortly.
