Expect to see a video for the soundtrack single "Tainted Love" in the near future. Marilyn Manson will reportedly film the video in the next few weeks in Los Angeles. Hopefully this will include appearances by the band members as well as the man himself.

Marilyn Manson has covered Soft Cell's 1980's hit, "Tainted Love", which will be the single from the soundtrack of the film "Not Another Teen Movie", which hits theatres sometime in November. The single is due to be released in early November. Meanwhile, the music composed by the band for the "From Hell" soundtrack will not be used because, according to the Official Marilyn Manson website, "no agreement could be reached". The only Manson music that will appear on the soundtrack is a remix of "The Nobodies".

The set list for the October 8, 2001 Los Angeles show, due to be released as a DVD in early 2002 (and reportedly also to be shown on Pay Per View on New Year's Eve) is as follows:

Irresponsible Hate Anthem
The Reflecting God
Great Big White World
Disposable Teens
The Fight Song
The Nobodies
Rock is Dead
The Dope Show
Cruci-Fiction in Space
Sweet Dreams (are made of this)
The Love Song
The Death Song
Antichrist Superstar

The Gear page has been updated and two more GGG/Ozzfest shots have been added to the Live photos page.

I now feel confident in saying that it's a no-go as far as Manson joining the Ozzy/Rob Zombie tour. The third band has just been announced and it's NOT Manson (for anyone who is interested, it's Soil). More than likely Manson will want to concentrate on making new music after next week's LA show, which is just as well -- perhaps this means not too long a wait for the next album, as well as for Manson to do his own headlining tour.
