AUGUST 2009

Sunday, 8.30.09

[07:25] Go here to watch a few minutes of behind-the-scenes footage taken in Reno last night, just before the curtain dropped. There's a few other videos that have been added to this page in the last couple days, which appears to belong to a Manson staff member. Might want to add it to your bookmarks so as not to miss further updates.

Really good show last night and if you were following the site's Twitter page, you know that "Running To The Edge Of The World" was added to the set list. Will be attending more shows later this week and will try to update from those as well.

Friday, 8.28.09

[08:20] Goon Moon have announced on their twitter page that Jeordie and Fred filmed a "What's In My Bag" segment for amoeba.com yesterday. They will let everyone know when it's up on Amoeba's site.

Thursday, 8.27.09

[12:52] If you are holding tickets for Marilyn Manson's show at The Myth on September 14th, be aware that due to the venue's sudden closure, the concert has been moved to The State Theatre in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, this venue is reserved seating and you will have to exchange your Myth tickets in person at the State Theatre's box office for new ones starting at 5 p.m. today. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so get down there as soon as you can. If you can't or do not wish to attend, refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Wednesday, 8.26.09

[19:45] Just a reminder that Cinema Bizarre's new album, BANG!, which features Jeordie's remix of "Love Songs (They Kill Me)", is now available for purchase on iTunes.

Tuesday, 8.25.09

[19:24] Don't have any details but the show scheduled for tomorrow night in Ventura has been cancelled. For info on ticket refunds, go here. If it helps soften the blow any, check out some cool footage from San Diego and Anaheim here.

Wednesday, 8.19.09

[09:10] Marilyn Manson will be playing the Spektrum in Oslo, Norway on November 8th. Go here for more info.

Monday, 8.17.09

[09:42] A couple of pictures from the San Antonio Mayhem Festival (and a brief review of Manson's performance) can be found here. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

The Mayhem Festival wrapped things up last night in Oklahoma City and now the real fun begins. Manson's headlining tour starts this Friday, August 21st at The Joint in Las Vegas and I will try to update live from the scene via Twitter, provided, of course, that my Blackberry and/or Twitter app are going to cooperate. As I found out during the Mayhem shows I attended, that can be hit or miss, but I will do my best!

Wednesday, 8.12.09

[09:05] New tour dates have been added as follows:

[06:36] Jeordie has once again lent his time and talent to creating another remix, this time for German synthpop group Cinema Bizarre. The track is called "Love Songs (They Kill Me)" and it appears on the band's first album ever to be released in the U.S., entitled "BANG!". The album will be available digitally on August 25th. Read all the details here and view the full tracklisting here.

Monday, 8.10.09

[21:26] Check out this new photo of Manson and Twiggy, which was recently added to Delaney Bishop's website. To see the rest of the photos (Manson only), click "next" or just click on the picture and it will take you to the next one.

Saturday, 8.08.09

[10:33] More pictures, same show.

[08:17] Lots of photos from the Mansfield/Boston show on August 4th can be found here.

Friday, 8.07.09

[14:32] Due to popular demand, a second show has been added for August 31st at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA. Since tickets are already on sale for this show, looks like it cancels out the show that's scheduled at the El Rey Events Center in Blackfoot, ID for this same date. Also another stop has been added in Europe: Antwerp, Belgium on December 18th at Lotto Arena.

[14:54] The day wouldn't be complete without the addition of a new concert date: Marilyn Manson comes to Moscow, Russia on November 13th at the B1 Maximum Club. Details can be found here. As to the second interview I mentioned earlier, I should have that up sometime tomorrow.

[09:08] Jeordie recently did an interview with French music magazine Rock Hard and you can read it here. A very special thanks goes out to Ezekiel for translating and transcribing. One more interview is forthcoming, so check back a little later.
