News detailing Perfect Circle's "political" album has surfaced via a statement released today by Maynard James Keenan on the band's official website. The album will be released on November 2nd and is entitled "eMOTIVe". The theme of the album will be "War, Peace, Love and Greed" and it will be comprised of new music, remixes and cover material, the latter of which will include songs such as John Lennon's "Imagine", "What's Goin' On?" by Marvin Gaye and "Let's Have a War" by Fear. One of the new songs, "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" ("Pet" remix) will be released this week "with an animated video poking fun at our fearless leader." You can listen to the song and view the video clip by going here.

A 2001 article from Metal Edge has been added to the Manson Archive Press section, where Jeordie (better known as "Twiggy Ramirez" in those days) offers up his commentary on his three favorite Iron Maiden albums. While I am not prone to updating the Manson Archive these days what with so many things from back then having been seen repeatedly at various Manson and/or Twiggy fansites, this was something I'd not seen before. The fact that I am a huge Iron Maiden fan also helped score this particular piece some points. Go here to read. Thanks to Sarah a/k/a hot_buttered_elves for the submission.

Both the Press page and Live photo gallery have been updated, the former with a December 2003 interview from a French music magazine called Rock Mag and the latter with five photos from the 2003 Lollapalooza tour. Thanks to Twiggette for translating the interview into English and to Lisa M. Huey at www.lisahuey.com for the photos.

A big question on the minds of many fans these days is whether or not Jeordie and John5, now a free agent since departing Marilyn Manson several months ago, will collaborate together on future projects. Well, if Jeordie is willing and able when the time comes, it could happen. According to a post made by John today on his official website, John "definitely" wants to work with Jeordie on his next record and says that "he's one of the first people I'm going to ask about playing on the record."
