At yesterday's Kerrang! Awards, Marilyn Manson came out on top in the Best Album (Holy Wood) category. Having a day off in London, all of the band were in attendance at the awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, followed by an after party, held at the Rock club.

Picked up the "Rock Star" soundtrack yesterday and gave a listen to Twiggy's "Blood Pollution" -- kick ass!! Haven't listened to the rest of the CD yet, but this tune alone makes it worth having.

Marilyn Manson are again among the nominees in the Kerrang! 2001 Awards, nominated in the Best International Act, Best Album (Holy Wood) and Best Band in the World categories. The awards will be handed out this Tuesday, August 28th.

Two new pictures have been added, one in the Live section and one in the Candid/Miscellaneous section. Speaking of pictures, the official Marilyn Manson website recently removed all of the Guns, God and Government tour photos (along with the video clips). Not sure why they did that (perhaps to make room for the "1000's" of new photos Marilyn promised us in one of his posts awhile back?), but all of the Twiggy photos from the GGG outing will remain up and available on this website.

If you're in the UK, MTV2 will reportedly be airing the Ozzfest "Cribs" featuring Twiggy. However, exactly when it will be aired is the question. Some reports say it will be tonight at 8:30 p.m., others say that it will be shown at 10:30, and yet another source gives the time as 8:30 p.m. Sunday, to be repeated at 11:30 p.m. next Thursday. All I can say is to check your local listings.

A new date has been added to the overseas leg of the tour, with the band performing in Dublin, Ireland at The Point on September 5th. This show is reportedly slated to be filmed for an upcoming DVD.

The soundtrack for the film "Rockstar" is now set for an August 28th release on the Posthuman/Priority label. Twiggy's contribution is a track called "Blood Pollution", which is one of five original songs performed by the film's fictional rock band, Steel Dragon. The movie is due to hit theatres on September 7th.
