The Press page has been updated with aversion.com's review of Goon Moon's "I Got a Brand New Egg Layin' Machine".
For anyone going to see Nine Inch Nails at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival this Sunday in Indio, CA, I just wanted to pass on the information that their set is scheduled from 9:00 p.m.-10:15 p.m. on the main stage. For more specifics on the festival, you can check out the official website at www.coachella.com.
NIN's official website has been updated with a brief little video teaser. Click here to view (you will need Quicktime). Also, the Manson-era candid gallery has been updated with a rather rare photo taken of Jeordie when he DJ'd at LA nightclub Life On Mars back in 2000. Click here to have a look. Thanks to Julian for sending it in.
If you're going to see Nine Inch Nails at the Joint in Las Vegas on April 30th, it might be worth your while to head over to the Body English nightclub (formerly Baby's) at the Hard Rock Hotel to check out Camp Freddy's set later that night. Camp Freddy, the "jam" band consisting of Dave Navarro, Billy Morrison, Matt Sorum, Chris Chaney and Donovan Leitch, will be closing out the Hard Rock's 10th Anniversary Bash that night and in today's entry on Navarro's blog page, he states that he hopes to get Jeordie up on stage to do a song or two with them. With several bands in addition to NIN performing as a part of the Hard Rock's celebration, you never know who might show up to jam with these guys. Check Camp Freddy's website for the impressive list of guest performers, including Jeordie, who've appeared with them in the past.
To correct an item I reported on the other week, it appears that Jeordie's remix of Hour Cast's "This Life" does not appear on their self-titled EP currently available, but rather will appear on their full length CD entitled "State of Disgrace", which is set for a summer release on Alkamedia Records. Former NIN drummer Chris Vrenna also contributes a remix by way of the track "3rd of July".
Regarding the release date of Goon Moon's EP, I just wanted to let everyone know that I've received official information clarifying that "I Got A New Egg Layin' Machine" is currently scheduled for a June 7th release, not May 10th.
Chris Goss spoke to Rolling Stone recently about the upcoming Moon Goon EP "I Got A Brand New Egg Layin' Machine," set for release on June 7th. "It's all over the fucking place," he describes the material. "It runs the gamut from pure rock to tracks that just sound like noise." Although this release will only feature 10 songs, Goss reports that a total of 50 songs were actually completed. Once Jeordie's commitments with Nine Inch Nails are fulfilled, the trio expects to release a full length LP which will be supported by a tour. To read more click here, and to hear a sample track, click here.
According to pitchforkmedia.com, the track listing for Goon Moon's LP will be as follows:
1. The Wired Wood Shed
2. Mud Puppies
3. Inner Child Abuse
4. The Smoking Man Returns
5. At the Kit Kat Klub
6. Rock Weird (Weird Rock)
7. Mashed
8. I Got a Brand New Egg Layin' Machine
9. No Umbrellas
10. Apartment 31
The project features Jeordie and Chris Goss trading off on vocals, guitar and bass, while Hella's Zach Hill handles all the drumming chores. It is said to capture ideas "hidden, skipped or vetoed" by the members' full-time bands. And while the news posted on the Masters of Reality official website last week indicates a release date of June 7th, pitchforkmedia.com lists it as May 10th. For now, I am leaning towards the June 7th date to be the more likely one, but I will let you know if that changes.

A review of the March 30th Astoria gig has been added to the Reviews page. Thanks to Calliope for a great write-up!
Jeordie recently took some time off from his chores with Nine Inch Nails to help out Boston-based rockers Hour Cast by remixing the track "This Life", which appears on their recently released 5 song self-titled EP. The EP is available in the Boston area at Newbury Comics, Strawberries, FYE and Tower and can also be purchased and downloaded at itunes. For more information on Hour Cast, check out their official website at www.hourcast.com
Nine Inch Nails will perform their new single, "The Hand That Feeds", next Saturday, April 9th on CD:UK. The show airs at 11:30 a.m. GMT. Check the website for more information.
