The official lineup won't be announced until Monday, January 31st, but it's looking very likely that Nine Inch Nails will be a part of this year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which takes place on April 30th and May 1st in Indio, CA. Los Angeles-based online magazine Ambitious Outsiders reports on its news page today that the William Morris Agency has confirmed NIN to be playing, although no indication is given as to which day they will play and whether or not they will be headlining.

Here's a few updates I wanted to pass along...
Regarding the record that Jeordie has been working on with Chris Goss, I am now informed that it will see a June 2005 release on Suicide Squeeze Records. It is described as "very noisy, hard to listen to, but very good." I did find an official website for the record label, so you might want to bookmark it for future reference, as it looks like this is where you would be able to purchase the record. I am also able to clarify now that this record is NOT Jeordie's solo album, but rather a separate project done just for fun.
In NIN news, reliable info says that Mike Tempesta will not be joining the lineup as has previously been reported.

Two tour dates for Nine Inch Nails have been announced via the band's official mailing list. The band will perform two nights at London's Astoria on Wednesday March 30th and Thursday March 31st. Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 22nd. No word yet as to the "first round of U.S. dates" that the official site claims are to be announced in "the near future".
In lineup news, Mike Tempesta, formerly of Powerman 5000, is now said to be replacing Ralf Dietel on guitar.

Just wanted to update the NIN lineup situation: Ralf Dietel is apparently out. No word yet on who, if anyone, will take his place.

The NIN Hotline appears to have confirmed what I've been suspecting, that not only will Jeordie be playing bass on the upcoming NIN tour, but will be assuming some of the guitar duties as well. The lineup as to who will be playing what is as follows:
Trent Reznor: Vox/Guitar/Keyboards
Jerome Dillon: Drums
Jeordie White: Bass/Guitar
Ralf Dietel: Guitar
Alessandro Cortini: Keyboards
The first round of U.S. dates are expected to be unveiled "in the near future" according to a recent posting on NIN's official site.

The new issue of Kerrang! features an article on Nine Inch Nails and their upcoming release, With Teeth. Jeordie will indeed be joining the lineup for the tour, along with drummer Jerome Dillon and two relatively unknowns, Ralph Dietel and Alessandro Cortini. Ralf Dietel, who hails from a German band called Feuer, was rumored a few weeks back by the Nine Inch Nails Hotline to have joined the lineup; Cortini, meanwhile, is a founding member of modwheelmood. More information on him can be found here. The band are currently in rehearsals in a Los Angeles area studio for their upcoming world tour. The first round of dates will be announced shortly.
