A preliminary track listing for Melissa Auf Der Maur's solo album shows Jeordie's contribution to the album as being on track #1, "Lightning Is My Girl", wherein he plays guitar. Fellow APC bandmate James Iha turns up on tracks #4 ("Head Unbound") and #11 ("Skin Receiver") on ebow and guitar, respectively. Additional musicians appearing on the album aside from those mentioned in previously issued press releases include Brant Bjork of Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age fame, Failure's Kelli Scott, John Stanier from Helmet and Atom Willard of Rocket From The Crypt.

The show will take place at the Salem Armory, which is actually in Salem, OR, just south of Portland. Also, tickets for the Cleveland, OH show on April 23rd will go on sale through Ticketmaster on Saturday, February 7th at 10:00 a.m.

A Perfect Circle will have a new video out to accompany the latest single release from Thirteenth Step, "The Outsider". Filming began yesterday, continuing into today. No word on when it will air or whether appearances from the band are included (my prediction: probably not). Thanks to aperfectcircle.net for the update.

The Press page has been updated with an interview from online music magazine Campus Circle and can be read here. Nothing we didn't already know in this one, though. Also, Moon over at aperfectcircle-france.com had the opportunity to interview Jeordie and James during A Perfect Circle's stop in Strasbourg the other day. The interview can be heard here and a review (in French) along with some photos of the show can be found here.

The discrepancy brought to light the other day regarding the U.S. tour dates has been cleared up. A Perfect Circle's official site has amended its listing and now shows the Norman, OK show to be on March 23 and the Dallas show on the 24th.

A Perfect Circle's official site has released the first round of dates for the Spring U.S. tour as follows:

March 26 • Amarillo, TX • Coliseum
March 27 • El Paso, TX • Don Haskins Center
March 28 • Phoenix, AZ • Dodge Theatre
March 29 • Las Vegas, NV • The Joint
March 31 • Sacramento, CA • Memorial Auditorium
April 1 • Long Beach, CA • Long Beach Arena
April 2 • San Diego, CA • Cox Arena

There is, however, one discrepancy in the above dates as opposed to the dates leaked yesterday. While the official site shows the Norman, OK show as being on the 24th and a show in Dallas on the 23rd, The DCF Concerts website shows the Oklahoma date as being the 23rd. I will pass along the info as soon as this is cleared up.

As reported a few weeks back, Melissa Auf Der Maur's solo album, while scheduled for a European/international release in February, will not be released in the U.S. until May. It has now come to light that the UK will also see an earlier release than those of us Stateside, the UK release date being March 1st. For anyone who doesn't want to wait until May, you can pre-order the album at amazon.co.uk. The approximate shipping date will be March 3rd. A cut from the record titled "Followed the Waves" can be found at aufdermaur.com, Melissa's newly-launched official website.

Metal Hammer is reporting that A Perfect Circle is rumored to be among the acts scheduled to perform at this year's Download Festival. Other acts whose names come up include Slipknot, Metallica, Aerosmith and Kiss. Also in the rumor stages is the location of the festival -- Glasgow on June 2nd and Castle Donnington on June 6th. Nothing has been confirmed yet band-wise or location-wise, but for those of you in the UK, you might want to keep watch on this in case anything pans out.

Regarding the MTV special reported on the other day, it now appears that this will not be aired on MTV itself but rather will be available on satellite radio. A post at thirteenthstep.net gave a link to a page at xmradio.com. If you want more info on this, here is the post with the link.
